Tennessee

reviewed by merin75

Located in the midwestern United States, Tennessee covers 42,146 sq. miles. The word "Tennessee" is derived from a Yuchi Indian phrase "tana-see" meaning "the meeting place." The capital of Tennessee is Nashville.

Nothing to do here. Too many bugs and rednecks. KKK is a big deal here.

Rednecks, KKK?Where have you been? Not in Tennessee obviously.

Yes. I made the mistake of moving to Cosby (near Newport) for 5 months. It is about 45 minutes east of Knoxville in the mountains. There were, unfortunately, many-a-redneck, way-too-much white trash, and plenty of local news articles commenting on the activities of the local clan. Not to mention a baptist church every 100 yards or so. I was in moonshine country! I hurried out of there and back to New England. I have also lived in Kentucky and Florida, but neither one of those southern states quite compares!
