Wachovia 1

I checked my account before I had made three purchases totalling $15.51. I later wrote a check for $10.00. The purchases had cleared and I had a positive account. I checked again yesterday and Wachovia had charged me $140 in fees for $25 worth of purchases! I am DONE! I can't take it any more! They are the scum of the earth! I call the guy and he tells me that he can only give me $35 back. Customer service (and I use that term loosely) then tells me that the online banking system isn't an accurate depiction of transactions. Are you kidding me? I wrote the corporate office and they sent me this really, really nasty letter saying that they are not to blame for my irresponsibility. I was not the least bit surprised that Wachovia was one of the first banks to start having problems. It isn't a bank, it is an extortion outfit! I wish I could give it negative stars!

Hey, i can tell you that Chase-JP Morgan does the same thing. It drives me crazy. It's really all about keeping a good register and not relying on the onlin banking balance. Sounds stupid I know, but it's part of the game. Banks know that a lot of people don't keep good register and they make the online transactions posting process as complicated as possible, and post inaccurate balances. I learned the hardway.
