Honestly, while I wouldn't be as rough on Perry as you are, I must say I basically agree with everything you say. He doesn't seem to be in it only for the money. I do believe that he has a good heart. It's just that his methods, and especially his education, are both suspect and sad. His understandings of prophecy and his exegesis of Scripture are sad. If I may make a recommendation, then I would say that you should seek a local church with a good pastor, or maybe look into a local church that televises their services. I have found some of the greatest preaching is not syndicated all over the USA, but instead right in my own city. Just some food for thought. I wish you the best, and I'll be in prayer for your husband. People like Perry Stone will get what's coming to them eventually.
