JC Penney 3

I don't enjoy shopping there, but JC Penney's is a good place to go for relatively inexpensive dress clothes like shirts and ties, and I also tend to buy athletic shoes there, because they have the same brands as places like Foot Locker, but at much lower prices. They also tend to carry my size in khakis and dress slacks, while places like Wal-Mart or Target consider my size to be big and tall, and therefore don't carry them in the store, although I find that paying $40 for a pair of pants is a bit steep when if I was just a little smaller I could buy basically the same thing from Wal-Mart for under $20.

It all depends on the pants and if you can catch things on sale you can usually get a great price for better quality pants then at walmart. Dont get me wrong I shop at walmart too but not for clothes. Compare to walmart your getting high quailty pants over cheap. Pants that would last longer then walmart. Big and tall merchandise tend to cost more due to more fabric. That is like that everywhere.

Big and tall stuff does cost more almost everywhere, but it's usually only $2 or $3 difference, the $20 price difference between a cheaper brand like Timber Creek (which I've never had any durability issues with in the past) and brands like Dockers carried by JC Penney seems more like price inflation fueled by brand name recognition, in the same way that hooded sweatshirt with a Nike logo will sell for $50+, yet a similar sweatshirt without the swish costs less than $20.

Or is that "swoosh" instead of "swish"?
