Keller Graduate School of Management

Keller Graduate School of Management 1

HORRIBLE! Don't EVER attend Keller Graduate school. I enrolled for a class in July of last year (2008)for their Business Administration MBA program. I had to drop the class the first week due to family obligations....I've been fighting with their financial aid department for the last 6 MONTHS to get the issues resolved...#1) They are trying to charge me almost $700 for an online class that I never even logged into. #2) I applied for a student loan from Wachovia to pay for the class...Wachovia ended up dispersing over $2,000 to Keller before I could cancel it. I've been trying to get the money returned to Wachovia from Keller for the past 6 months without success. I've spent COUNTLESS hours on the phone with NUMEROUS people at Keller who either didn't know how to help me, or didn't care to help me. The sad thing is...I've already spent over $40,000.00 with them obtaining my Bachelor's degree through DeVry University. You would think that they would show me better service after having chosen them to obtain my Masters degree (esp. since there are countless other schools that I could have chosen that are not as over priced as Keller), but Keller is just too concerned about money and not at all concerned about the student. I WILL NEVER ATEMPT TO TAKE A CLASS WITH KELLER GRADUATE SCHOOL BASED ON THIS INITIAL EXERIENCE AND THOUGHT IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF YOU POTENTIAL STUDENTS TO SEE WHAT KELLER IS REALLY ABOUT. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING YOUR MONEY. THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION YOU GET!!!!!! BEWARE!

Sorry to hear that both of you had a bad experience with Keller. I don't know which location you attended. I graduated from Keller last March '08 in NYC area and I had very good experience with them.

I took student loan and I never had any problem with financial aid office. I registered for an extra course as alumni after I graduated and withdrew it couple weeks later. I paid only a fee of $77 because I attended the class two times which I think it was fair.

I would say that couple of unprofessional employees at Keller do not represent the entire school. Every education institution has its own issues and trust me I am a graduate of New York University as well and they had their own problems too.

Sorry to be honest here, but I really think you sound like you have a chip on your shoulder. I read the catalog and everything you are facing is in the catalog in black and white. It sounds like you didn't follow the instructions.

These students are absolutely right in their opinion of Keller. The staff is not responsive except to collect payment. They are very good at that. If you do not pay, Keller will put a financial hold on your account even before the due date on the bill. Then, in an ever mode of recruiting, send emails asking you to register for new classes. That's all they care about registration and payment, terrible customer service to students.

Amen, brother. They misfiled a withdrawal so I am STILL (two years later) being chased for payment. When I got them on the phone, their wonderful staff said "well, you can speak to a supervisor, but that won't change the fact that you owe the full amount." I'm about to go dig thru paperwork to try and end this mess.
