Bonnie White 1

Bonnie White is coasting on her past reputation. In my business dealings with her, I have found her to be irresponsible at best. Ms White is obviously having troubles paying her bills, so DO NOT EXTEND HER ANY CREDIT. When she finally paid her bills, they were 90 days past due. This was only after we hounded her for payment, she lied about sending checks out, and she returned products that she did not sell fast enough while deducting the cost of the returns.

I was extremely disappointed to learn Bonnie White (I assume) had closed its doors. As a native Atlantan, I remember Bonnie White at Phipps. I think the shop at Phipps Plaza was one of the first stores at the Mall. I've shopped at both stores.

While I know it is important to be a person of your word and if you are unable to keep your commitment call, still ... shame, shame on you for bashing Bonnie and the store in such a public manner. It sounds as if you were a vendor and I can imagine when times were good you were only to happy to show up at the store and show your products.

Believe me, I know both sides - Bonnie and your side - I've owned a business, but I learn taking the high side (road) is always the best and this was not the high road.

While Bonnie and Robin (my sales consultant from Phipps days) would never earn a living from what I've purchased over the years, I did shop at the stores. As a mature lady it was one of the best stores in Atlanta. The items were fairly reasonable, there was an assortment and they were clothes that made you seem fashionable without looking silly.

With Bonnie White gone and Lilly Rubin's, Issacson's and to a very limited degree Snooty Hooty there is nothing left in the city. (The thing about Bonnie she was the most reasonable of all these stores.)

To Bonnie, Robin and Beth best to you all in future ventures. I hope to see you in the future.

To all the stores who market to women such as myself, hopefully you can hang in there and Atlanta women will be good to you and shop the stores. As I write I think of J.P. Allen's, Regestein's, and for that matter Pappagallo's, and the beautiful mall on Paces Place, all gone ... COME ON LADIES LET US SUPPORT THESE STORES.
