Bayless Conley 4

Bayless Conley's teaching is Spirit-filled & with great biblical and sound doctrine I take issue with one thing Bayless allows. The Ministry called "Fuse on Sunday nights" have allowed the Youth to select and do skits on SECULAR Themes from our societies (godless) pop-culture, WHY is this necessary? Themes such as: Beatle Mania,( a theme on Fuse night that ran for a month in July of 07). Super Heroes, Batman other worldly skits. Maybe the Fuse Youth did not know this but years ago when the Beatles were at the height of their fame Lennon once claimed they were more famous than Jesus enraging many Church leaders, the Beatles also introduced New age false religions & promoted drugs in some of their later songs as in the song "I get high with a little help from my friends" & yellow submarine who many felt was about LSD ),& Why the Batman Superman & other Mythical themes to attract the masses of young people???

Christian churches that allow themes from Movies, TV and promote Super hero type movies themes is also wrong because today's Super Heroes and Movies are not the same as in the past. Why can't Jesus be the only superstar in His Church? ?? The modern Super hero type movie versions have sexual content & profanity not becoming to a Christian. It is a sin & shame that so many of the Lords people are resorting to conforming to the world instead of being transformed (to Christ). As commanded in the Word. Love for the behavior & things of this unregenerated world is hatred for God.

Aren't we supposed to come out from among them and be separated ( in our thinking & behavior)? Aren't we new creations in Christ? Why can't the Fuse Youth Leaders use godly Bible characters & Bible Heroes for the "Fuse Sunday night" Themes instead? Aren't there plenty of Movie theatres and secular entertainment without going to church and finding it? Didn't our Lord say "He will not share His glory with another", glorying in wordly pop-culture (which is 90% ungodly & immoral is not good), in my opinion. I know the motive is to win the lost at any cost but Jesus said "if I be lifted up I will draw all men (& women) to me". There is enough power in the Gospel to save from the guttermost to the uttermost. Just drawing a youthful crowd seeking to be entertained is no measure of who is being truly saved, secular concerts all across America can draw a sold out crowd.

I want to be where Gods precious Holy Spirit has no competition.
Is a flirty bride pleasing to her husband? Hasn't God already said He is a jealous God and to have no other gods (idols) before Him? Why are so many of our Christian churches allowing the Youth to bring the worlds idols and movie themes to mix with our youth services? We are the bride of Christ our hearts should exalt Him alone!! These Fuse secular movie & media type skits nearly ruined it for me & my family.
On the plus side Cottonwood Christian Ctr. (not Fuse Srvc.) is one of the best Churches around in terms of strong Bible teaching and ministries that serve the community and spread the Gospel. If they left out the Fuse youth pop culture themes this would be the perfect place to Worship. I recognize that in this fallen-world nobody or Church is perfect, what is wrong with our striving to please our Lord & not the people? There is no doubt Bayless loves the Lord & is a great Bible teacher but the secular Fuse stuff is a turn-off to the thirsty for God alone. A big plus besides the great Bible teaching is all of the Musicians & Worship leaders are simply awesome! I wish they would sing more than 3 & a half songs a service though.

Let me rephrase what I said. You have to know the Lord ,before you can love him. No one can serve two masters.

Dear fearful anonymously, I will not deny the Lord Jesus because false religion wants everything to be fair. Sounds worldly me.Like, can't we all just get along?Hog wash. If you love the world and the things in the world, the love of the Father is not in you. You said many christian church leaders use Malachi. Well anonymously, just bcause many christian leaders tell you to jump off a cliff and God will save you, is that the truth? You know that's not the truth. So you wouldn't jump off the cliff! The same reasonng with Malachi. If you take scripture out of context, for their own personal gain, like I explained in my letter above, you would understand. By the way I have edited my letter, re-read it and read it slowly. The reason Paul never mentions not any thing about the tithe is because the tenth did not exist anymore because of Jesus. Paul said that he was more zealous and surpassed most of his compadries in Judisium( which was of the law). He was so zealous he was persecuting Christians. You see his intentions were good but he was wrong. So what happened, Anonymously? Well the Lord Jesus dropped Paul to his knee's and said, way do you persecute me Saul? You see anonymously, Jesus ( Spirit Of Thruth) is real christianity. God's alot bigger than tv or radio. True worship and true wittness is how we live every minute during our lives. With love and truth, have a good day.

How is it you think I agree with the command for the Gentiles (the Churches) to Tithe?? I agree that Gentiles were never commanded to Tithe only the Jews. Tithing was never an instruction to the Gentiles but was to the Jews only before Christ died fulfilled the law because we could not do so with 100 perfection. Never did the great Apostle Paul give this as an instruction to the Gentile churches he founded. HE did not even command a salary and said he refused to be paid to preach the Gospel. Giving is now from a position of love for the Lord, not llaw, performance or works. You must have misunderstood me. Also Abraham gave a tithe only once. As for Wordliness and pop culture on the pulpit & in Gods house I am opposed to that also.
A good book for our Churches to read is titled: "Wordliness-Resisting the Seduction of a Fallen World" by CJ Mahaney.
I stand by my remark that giving is a free act of Worship but is no longer a duty or required command as was for the Jewish nation. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law so it is wrong for Pastors to curse blood bought people who have received Jesus and his atoning blood (redemptive work on the Cross) Let's be reminded to correct in love though. I am trying hard to love even when highly irritated. Pray for me! The word of God is the final authority if it is not in Scripture I mentally toss it. Why do they speak or add to areas that are abolished and silent in the New Testament? Give out of love not duty. Don't call it paying God. God freely gives us unearned favor & grace if we belong to Him!

For clarification on modern Church day Tithing as done in the Old Testament All Jewish religious Ordinance & laws such as to bring all the tithes & offering into the storehouse as arequirement for the Jews in Malachi 3:7-8 & 9 was blotted out according to Colossians 2:14 the verse said all ordinances of the OT law was blotted out & nailed to the cross. People have a responsibility to search out scripture and read it for themselves!
Give voluntarily to Ministries but no one can pay God enough for all He has done for us. A tenth & more should be voluntarily not because of pressure, mandate or law. "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law and was made a curse for us". Galatians 3:13. All laws have been fulfilled & kept for us by Jesus on the cross, He said "It is finished "meaning paid in full.

There is a world of difference in "paying" God tithes & giving to God. One is trying to buy Gods favor when He already proclaimed that His favor is a free gift. Grace means unearned and unmerited favor. Our favor & blessings are included in the free gift of Salvation that Jesus gave to those who recieve Him. No one could keep all of Gods laws perfectly but Christ. He has said to even look at a woman with lust is Adultery, not just the action. The Word claims "there is none Righteous no not one" . The only Righteousness we have is because of our Salvation and position in Christ. When we put our faith & trust in Him we have right standing with God. God's blessings are now based on what Jesus alone did by His atoning death & sacrifice on that Cross, not on any works we do! If we go back under the bondage of trying to earn it by our works we are back under the bondage of the law & voiding what God freely gave us."He (God) did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all How shall He not with Him (Christ) "Freely Give Us All things. Romans 8:32 Please note the words Free and All things! It is so important to read our Bibles and not just be spoon fed Christians.
