Coast to Coast AM With George Noory 1

This is an arrogant host that contradicts himself time after time. He encourages people to e-mail him, which I have done many times but too no avail as he cannot even respond to any of my questions or comments regarding the guests and topics! This show is a shadow of what it was when the great Art Bell was the host, and will only improve when fans of the show start tuning out and e-mailing the producers to tell them why we are not listening anymore.
C2C use to be a nightly tradition for me and my friends, as we would gather by the radio and listen every night to the great topics/guests that graced the show. Lately it is a rehash of guests that agree with Noory and provide him with openings to show his intelligence(?). The weekend shows are better then the weekday shows, and the best shows are when Art Bell does his guest spots, which are far too few in number.
This show is nothing but a money grab as listeners are encouraged to pay to listen to podcasts, pay for newsletters, pay to listen to past shows etc. Now the great Noory has decided to grace us in Canada with his presence, but at a cost (platinum tickets are over $120.00) which gives you the pleasure of meeting and greeting him. If it is like the way he replies to e-mails he will walk through the room waving and shaking a few hands of specially selected people before he leaves the room without talking to anyone that he hasn't chosen beforehand.
Personally my rating of this host and his version of C2C would be -10 as he considers himself to be too important to respond to fans of the show that take the time to send in their questions/comment via e-mail. That was something that Art Bell never did to his listeners, it may have taken a few days to get a response, but one always came. Too bad George Noory isn't 1/10 the man/host that Art Bell is.
I use to listen nightly but the guests and topics are of such poor quality now that I would rather not waste my time listening to the garbage that passes for topics on C2C under George Noory.
Save the show, Bring back Art Bell! Or even promote some of the other hosts to the weekday slot, anything but continue with the Noory drivel and non responses to long time fans that send in e-mails at his request! As I stated above I have sent in at least a dozen e-mails, but got no responses from Noory. I sent Art Bell three e-mails and got a response to all three. Even Ian Punnett responded to the two e-mails I sent in and George Knapp also responded to the two e-mails I sent in. That shows me which hosts value their listeners and which host takes them for granted.

I disagree! I sent several messages to Art while he was host and NEVER ONCE received a reply. However, I did receive one answer from George. You are VERY arrogant to think you deserve a reply considering the thousands of E mails all of the hosts receive. Most other show host come out and say they cannot guarantee a reply due to that very reason. Also, charging for listening to podcasts and newsletters started after Art sold the rights of the show! Come on, George has no say over that and you know it (or should). Finally, why would stations continue to carry and pick up the show if the ratings were REALLY as bad as is portrayed here? I guarantee they WOULD NOT.

I guess you were lucky to get an answer from the great George, but my friends and myself have never ever received a response from him, although he continues to solicit e-mails from his listeners! As for Art Bell all I know and can say for fact is that he took the time to answer the messages sent to him from me and a few of my friends, as have the other hosts of C2C. The only C2C host that did not respond to any of the messages that he solicited was the great George. How is it arrogant to expect a response from a host that requests listeners to send in questions or comments? Even a form letter would have been better then nothing. This one specific request was to hear from people that drive for a living, asking about our experiences on the road, the quality of other users of the roads and what some of the stranngest things we had seen during our long hauls. He even stated during the next show that while he received many messages he took the time to respond to all of the messages he received from "HIS PEOPLE!", but that was a lie as myself and three other drivers took the time to e-mail him with the requested information there was never any type of answer. That is a common complaint from many of the Canadian Truckers I have spoken with. It seems like "His People" are Americans only. You say I am arrogant to think I deserve a reply, it seems to be the height of ignorance to assume that the messages that were sent were unsolicited and sent by only one person.
If you read through all these comments posted here you would learn that many other people weren't responded to either. They must be arrogant too! It seems that you read the first comment posted and decided to blast away without taking the time to read the many other posted comments. That would help you obtain more information from the other posters before formulating your opinion which seems to be limited to one post.
I am glad that the great Noory responded to you, your e-mail must have stroked his ego (lol). One response! WOW!!

As for your opinion, you are entitled to think whatever you want. Before you call people arrogant maybe you should read more then one post before you form your opinion on a topic, or was there too many posts for you to bother reading.
