Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

I really liked it there. The entire region is beautiful. I was happily surprised that the place wasn't overly infested with U.S corporations. You still have the feeling you're in Mexico. I stayed at the RIU Santa Fe, its an all inclusive resort. I'll review that a little later. You can do whatever recreation you desire in Cabo, from riding ATVs on the Pacific beaches( thanks to Lawrence for that suggestion, it was a lot of fun) to whale watching on a pirate ship. That was very cool. Downtown Cabo is safe, even at night. The locals wearing the white outfits have their stuff laid out for sale pretty much everywhere. They sell everything from hats and T-shirts to some good green bud. : D Hey...when in Rome.
I spent most of my time drinking by the pool during the day, and drinking at one of many bars at night. Speaking of night, it cools off pretty good in the desert this time of year. If you forgot to bring a jacket, don't worry, find the guys dressed in the white outfits, thats if they don't find you first.
1-27-09: I am leaving for here Thursday morning...and you are most likely not. Just thought I'd bring that up.
