Moody Blues 5

I first began taking note of the Moodies absence in the hall of fame in 1995, thinking at the time, oh well, surely they will make it 'next' year. Well, that next year is now 13 years later and still no invitation?? It's quite clear to me this Cleveland structure is badly misnamed, maybe it should be Commercially Successful Musicians Who Pleased the Record Producers Building.

I'm not saying the Moodies or many of the other groups who pioneered so many facets of rock and roll weren't/aren't commercial successes, but if the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was truly representative of this genre, why have they been overlooked, ignored even? I realize it's a long list of others who deserve to be there, but they are on the outside looking in too. But then again, maybe they, like me, aren't even paying attention to this annual sham anymore. Madonna, woohoo, now there's a real rocker, uh huh...
