SunTrust 1

Suntrust SUX! We have banked with them for over 15 years (American Federal, CCB, now Suntrust). Their policies change and of course for the worse. Suntrust is now charging NSF fees of $35.00 each even if the transactions are listed as pending. I believe they recently introduced this because I haven't encountered this before now. Living pay check to pay check I admit I have used the fact that transactions are in pending to "squeeze" by.
BEWARE! Even if the place where you made the transaction doesn't have their money from Suntrust (hense pending) Suntrust will still charge you for "committing" to pay.
I will look for another bank and one that only charges NSF when/if I spend more money than my current not available balance. ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH!

You are NOT charge NSF when an item is pending!!! The item posts once the merchant release the charge! Once the item posts to your account is when you are charged! BELIEVE ME!! You will have the same problems regardless what bank you go to!
