DeVry University 5

I think it's quite telling how the majority of negative reviews here are written by obviously under-educated people who can't spell and use bad grammar.

The majority of positive reviews, however, seem to be written by intelligent and relatively eloquent people.

Hmmmmm.

Writing an article for a paper, magazine, book report, professional paper, then sure, i'll make sure every word is spell checked and correct grammar is used.

For an internet review website? Personally, my review was written in a hurry, because I had real work to do at my real college.

As long as anyone who read my review understood it, that's enough for me, doesnt need to be perfect. Don't judge a book by its cover. Could be the people who write positive reviews feel they need an edge over the negative, so they spend their sweet time writing a review, unlike my negative review that I wrote in 20 minutes. Who knows?

Also please write a review, don't just write a snippet to raise their ranking.

No, you are wrong. In a website forum like this the only thing people have to judge you by, and therefore your credibility on the subject, is your written word. Don't they teach that at your "real" college?

BTW, DeVry is great. I love it.

I wrote this review in 1 minute. :)

Don't be such a jackass...

I am a DeVry Alumni 1986 and have taken a simple ET diploma further than most (including 2 Emmy awards). So regardless of spelling the content is the same. I have returned to DeVry online and have to agree with the majority of the negative comments except the course content. I found it challenging and compelling, but the service is not up to the standard that it was 20 some years ago. The academic advising team is excellent, but they are working with their hands tied. The policies are set making it easy for the administration and, above the advising team, they don't care about you as a person. The upper administration does not respond to issues at all, and simply refers you back to the advising team.

I am currently transferring out of DeVry for several reasons, the main reason being the lack of accessibility of the upper administration, basically anyone who can actually make a decision.
