Bil-Jac 1

I have never smelt such bad odor! I was so excited about taking the Bil-Jac challange. I tried it for the first time today. The dogs loved it but the gas smell! and that was just from one feeding. I did some research and didn't like what I found. I went back to Petsmart and returned the food and treats for a full refund.

Bil-Jac is one of the only pet foods never mentioned in a recall. The pellet type dry is more of a raw food that has been pasturized. If you put these pellets in water, the food breaks apart. Try doing that with other kibble, it soaks up the water and expands, not good if you dog has a full belly of food. Bil-Jac is a fresh food and yes it does have by products, but it is decent nutrition. Don't believe what you read on dog food analysis, that site is owned and operated by a premium food manufacturer and they put down every food that is not a premium type. If it works for your pets feed it, if not find another food.

You swallowed the sales pitch hook, line, and sinker, kpaxx. Bil Jac is neither raw nor fresh.

And no, dogfoodanalysis.com is NOT owned by a premium dog food manufacturer. It is owned by a Boxer breeder and enthusiast who has been studying pet foods for many years. Is it the end-all, be-all for nutritional information and dog food ratings? No. Is the system they use for rating foods flawed? Yes, somewhat. Is it a vast conspiracy of a corrupt pet food company? Not at all. However, the marketing for Bil Jac IS a conspiracy... a conspiracy of commercialism and deceit.
