Iron Works Barbeque 5

Fantastic. Just a half a block away from the Austin Conference Center, but it feels like you have taken a trip into the country. It's old wooden building with a wood burning stove - the place used to be a blacksmith or something.

The reason to go here is because of the bbqd meats. I had the pork loin and it was amazing. There is warmed bbq sauce in bottles to make the meat slide down faster, and you can get a baked pototo on the side. There are tubs of ice with texas beers floating in them, so you can wash down your bbq with an ice cold beer.

Highly recommended.

Hope to get there. Have tried Lambert's (nice sitdown, excellent brisket) and Rudy's (very casual, no plates, small chain, but super BBQ). Suppose I should not be lazy and actually post reviews.
