The contest itself was a great idea, but the end results were a bit disappointing.
I got the email saying that I had written enough reviews to get the t-shirt, and I have to say I was rather disappointed by the available sizes. Apparently the shirts tend to run a little small, and they only go up to men's XL. That's going to be one snug fitting t-shirt. If they were available in XXL, I'd wear it and give RIA a little free advertising around here, but I guess it'll probably end up stuffed in the back of some drawer or maybe I'll give it away.
Here's a little advice to anyone printing up t-shirts for any sort of promotion or event. Make sure you get a wide enough variety of sizes. When I was in college, my fraternity sponsored a jazz festival, and for two of those years we printed off t-shirts. XXL's sold, and we even sold a few XXXL. It doesn't take that big of a person to require an XXL. I of course would probably have a tendency to not order smalls, but that would probably be a mistake as well. People come in a lot of different sizes, and it's worth thinking about any time you're making some sort of promotional clothing.
