What can I say?? Problems, problems, and more problems! I am from the south, and I hate to talk bad about people, but it's ok as long as you do it behind their backs! The tech support guy was so bad, I had to correct his grammar! He kept saying, "Uhh, can ye hold?" Every time I asked a question, he'd say that. I guess he had to call the one educated person working there.

Next, slow speeds, frequent disconnects, customer service won't answer/return calls/emails... you get the idea.

Also, I got charges thrown on my account and had to call several times to get them removed plus deal with some uneducated rude people. I called SEVERAL, and I do stress SEVERAL times to cancel. No one would answer or return my calls UNTIL I filed a complaint with the BBB. Then suddenly, someone had time to call me!

Don't waste your time people!

What did you ever get done with this place?? I had the same runaround....call and get that recording that disconnects you. I did get someone to answer one time, and she said "I'll have to take your number and someone will call you back. They are very busy." I said, "Ive been trying to cancel for 2mths...if someone dosent call me by 5pm today, Im going to go ahead and file a complaint!" No one ever called, by the way. Earlier on when I called to cancel, they'd say, "You need to talk to TRISH. I'll transfer you." EVERY DAMN time her voice mail came on, and I left a message. No one ever called. I left messages THREE times. I also sent an email...no response!
When I filed a complaint, suddenly someone had a moment to call. The guy with BBB called me numerous times for updates. They'd tell him that my 12mth contract hadn't ended yet. I had had it for over 13mths. I sent the guy copies of all the charges I'd had over the 13mths. They'd thrown charges on my credit card and were downright rude about it all, but finally another girl took care of it. See, because of the overcharges, she said they just wouldn't charge me again for 3mths (which I DIDN'T have to agree with) They basically got my money upfront for 3mths in advance.
So, in the end, the Trish chic tried to claim my contract was not complete because for 2mths I had charges of $15 instead of 1 charge of $30. WTF does it matter??? It wasn't MY fault that they screwed up and charged me in advance, then started charging half for 2mths!!!!
OHH, and they claim installation is so easy that the owner's grandma did it....HAHAHAHA What a load of BS! My Dad has helped people install several satellite dishes and he also has an electronics degree...HOWEVER, it took him and his buddy (who is an installer for DirectTV) to work on it....took many hrs. It wouldnt get signal because the little cheap gadget wouldnt even work...had to get it replaced...was still being charged yet couldnt use it.
The connection was not much better than dial-up and went out often.

I don't know about your area, but I got a CRICKET wireless modem for my parents (after I finally got that Skyway sh*t cancelled.) You can go to their website and check if it is available in your area. It's $40/mth and they were offering the modem free after rebate. It isn't super fast like what I have here in the city, but it is fast enough. It's actually pretty reliable so far too.
