Dodd initially denied any involvement in the AIG distraction, he later said that if the provision for the retention bonus payment was left out, (which he did want) he was afraid that the whole bill was in jeopardy, (which was a lie too). The important fact to remember is (what to do with that provision was debated before hand ) many people in congress knew about it. Other idiots didn't know...(and voted for it). Turbo Tax Tim was involved (wanted the provision put back in the bill) , your president knew before hand as well, he signed off on it. We're witnessing unprecedented incompetence by the government....the one you voted for...
