Do you mean by 'most other nations', China, N. Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia and others whose modes of governance seem to be most admired by American 'conservatives'?

Not that you could possibly learn anything, fit, but American conservatives do not admire totalitarian dictatorships. We favor limited government, the free market and the guarantee of the freedom to choose. We're about to find out if we can prevent the United States from becoming a totalitarian regime ruled by a charismatic president and an elite political class now known as the liberal wing of the democrat party.

China, North Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia are dreadfully run nations. Nobody I have ever met thinks that they are to be admired, from the looniest left winger to the most rock headed right winger. They are certainly among, but far from the only nations in which a government official who leaked classified information leading to the torture death of even one of that nations' citizens would be punished by incarceration, or worse.

Unfortunately, many on the loony left and right agree with mindless authoritarianism as practiced in countries like China, North Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia even as they pretend they're for 'freedom'.

Examples:

Winger support for incarcerating (and worse) of innocents in Guantanamo and warrantless wiretaps, etc.

OR

Leftist admiration of the counter-revolutionary, Fidel Castro.
