You must have missed the 90% tax rate, recently proposed on AIG (and thousands of other) tax-paying bonus recipients. You may want to keep abreast of current political events, mag. Would that indicate a socialistic bent?

people that think this is gonna be the way america runs the rest of our lives are out of thier minds. These are the best solutions to the mess without it getting worse. Remember The stock market when it was going down fast, and what did president hoover do to stop it,,, nothing!. He believed it would settle itself out and it didnt. This time we arent repeating that failure. Times are tough, we got to help, to keep the economy moving. Its not a permanent thing that will last forever.

kburke, You're pretty confident that the messiah is only doing a little short-term tinkering. Right? I'm quite certain that the only method Obama knows of dealing with any problem is to unleash the government, with all its corruption and capricious interference, on the object of its attention. If your company is so unfortunate as to be in the cross-hairs of the enraged behemoth (the government poised the "fix" your problems) the solutions are few but the damage is widespread and permanent. The oldest lie I know is: "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help! "

What does that mean, SuKings? What about the Viets thousands of lives? I don't see the connection to capitalism or the current trend toward communism in America.
