28 Days

reviewed by magellan

Newspaper columnist Sandra Bullock never met a drink she couldn't quaff. But when her guzzling gets out of hand, she lands -- against her will -- in a rehab center. With good-humored help from her fellow patients (including Viggo Mortensen), Bullock confronts her demons, dries out and learns some life lessons. Bullock turns in one of her most versatile performances.

I really liked 28 Days - it's probably one of my favorite horror movies of all time. I was biased in favor going in, as the guy who wrote the screenplay, Alex Garland, was one of my favorite authors of the time.

The empty London scenes were the best, and spastic, fluid spewing zombies are certainly more effective than the slow moving sort.

Hehe...i think you might mean 28 Days Later :) Personally I'd love to see Sandra Bullock gored by a zombie, but sadly I doubt this dream will ever become a reality.

Nope, I'm referring to the Sandra Bullock movie.

On an unrelated note, it would be helpful to have descriptions viewable at the list level :)

Hah, I totally agree :) Also...pictures!

hahahahaha - so when Bullock "confronts her demons" she's confronting zombies? I might rent this.

Maybe Lena was thinking of Bullock's intimate honeymoon video that she made with her scary, tatooed, chopper building husband when she was referring to the "gored by a zombie" film.

Not that I've seen it or anything.
