An animal that can be taught to do tricks, go for walks without the leash, and are loyal to u from the start, these are some of the best kind to have if u want companionship.

I may be biased, dogs are awesome. Many dogs are different depending on breed, among other factors, so do your research first. Use positive, humane training and you both will share a long life together.

Don't worry, as he gets older he'll sleep longer.
