The John Deere 2940 tractor is one of the best machines Deere ever made. I rate this tractor equal to that of a 4010 or 4020 tractors. Easy to drive, this tractor has a good power to weight ratio that makes it perfect for pulling a batwing mower or more heavy tillage work. This tractor makes a great loader tractor. This tractor is one of the German built John Deeres and is touph as nails. I have owned one since it was new. Have well over 8000 hours on mine. Never been inside of it and it pulls as good as it did the day I first used used it. The best investment I ever made. You just can't beat the Twenty Nines!!!!
