A high protein, low carb, grainless food.

I've been feeding my dog this food for two months. In that time he's had bad diarrhea twice. At first I thought it was something else but I now suspect the food. The combination of high protein and fat does not agree with him. He's a running partner and thought the high protein would be best...but I don't think so anymore.

How much are your feeding? This could play a big part in the diarrhea? If you feed to much then you get loose stool, gas or diarrhea this is true with any food.

You said you have been feeding it for 2 mths and only 2 bouts of diarrhea? Maybe it was not the food or too much of it or maybe it was something he ate along with it out of the yard like a wild mushroom or something. I would consider keeping the dog on it and cutting back a bit on the amount
