Mrs. Elisabeth Hasselback is a disgrace to television. In a hot issue, she is always wrong. She believes that a woman should forfeit her rights to her own body and that the "next day pill" should be illegal due to her "belief" that life starts the minute sperm enters the body of a woman. Please. It may be her prerogative to have three babies, but not everyone can afford or would like that. She is someone who inadvertently (through stupidity) leads to more usurping of my rights as an individual and I hate her for that. In every debate she looks to justify the war in Iraq and waterboarding, seeing no principles whatsoever in anything but her own morally bankrupt ideas that were directly taken from another news source with out any applied thinking. She looks at every idea differently, as any loyal pragmatist would, and is utterly incapable of seeing any principle in anything whatsoever - even if her life depended on it. For example, she just debated Jesse Ventura, a principled man, and argued that we extracted worthy information through waterboarding from one person. She does not recognize the fact that torture under world law is illegal and that we cannot say we abide by a law and then break that law. We cannot have a government subversively breaking laws - see the mess we are in with the Iraq war and economic system. She watches too much CNN and is worse than a parakeet with an uncontrollable gag reflex. The View needs to keep this simple minded bimbo off the show as it looks like she is slowly degrading the intelligence of every other host by mere opening of her open fixed mouth.
It does not appear that she actually thinks about anything before she says it. The anti thought mangled garbage that comes out of her mouth makes me thankful for my cognitive powers that clearly some people don't have or worse, don't use. Read some non fiction Ayn Rand and learn to think, please! It is extremely clear that her brain or lack of is not what got her on TV.
