Tennessee

reviewed by Biscuithead

Located in the midwestern United States, Tennessee covers 42,146 sq. miles. The word "Tennessee" is derived from a Yuchi Indian phrase "tana-see" meaning "the meeting place." The capital of Tennessee is Nashville.

Tennessee 3

Tennessee is a beautiful state once you get to the eastern part into the mountains, and Pigeon Forge is a great city to visit. The western part around Memphis where I live, you find the Mississippi River. When you drive on I-40 between Memphis and Nashville, there is absolutely no meaningful cities, with the exception of Jackson, and there is absolutely nothing to see. Not the most interesting place to drive in. People in Tennessee are generally friendly and there is plenty if diversity.

The weather is very warm and and humid, so the temperatures can get out of control at times. It rains a lot and we get a lot of nasty storms and tornadoes, and thankfully are yet to get hit by one.

In Memphis, there are a lot of shootings, and about a week or two ago, there was a serial rapist going around western Tennessee. There is plenty of crime in TN, but the suburbs are generally much safer and cleaner, too.

Although not the best, Tennessee is a decent state to live in.

BH...do they still have as problem with the pyramid blinding drivers in Memphis?

Not sure, but the Pyramid is empty right now.

I was going to post Mott The Hoople and Chuck Berry Memphis videos, but why bother when some grump will probably take them down?

So, if interested in a little fun, you'll just have to search for them on YouTube for yourself.
