Bi-Rite Market 5

I used to live around the corner from Bi-Rite and would hit it just about every day. This was before the lines started going out the door, and Dolores Park and 18th street blew up as a destination.

You go in there for a gatorade or something, and the next thing you know you are dropping $22 on all of this good stuff. Their meatloaf is really, really good.

I believe that Bi-Rite is owned by a Mission High grad who saw the yuppie / hipster opportunity very early, and was the first to move on delivering a high end grocery store. They've done a good job.
