Two questions:

1) Do you have a rationale for denying equal civil rights to same gender couples?

2) Are you aware of the fact that Obama doesn't favor single payer universal healthcare?

1) It's just my personal opinion that I do not believe in gay marriage/civil unions. However, I think people should be entitled to what they want in life but it doesn't mean I'm going to support it. I think this issue is in the headlines because people don't want to focus on issues like the economy.

2) I know Barack Obama doesn't support single payer universal healthcare. Both parties are in bed w/the insurance companies, anyway. So good luck w/health care reform. I voted for Nader by the way. Even though I agreed w/maybe 30% of Nader's viewpoints, I can't see much of a discernible difference b/w Republicans and Democrats. Both parties suck. I didn't care for Obama or McCain. The only thing I liked about McCain was his military service. Obama had a couple of good things to say but I'm glad I didn't vote for him because as soon as he won, he sent out an email to forgive Hillary 'anti-christ' Clinton's campaign debt. But whatever
