Should Gays Have the Right to Be Married? 3

The name marriage means acceptance for gays on religious grounds, but considering the state of marriage today…I don’t understand why they would want to use the same name anyway.

I am not sure what you mean by the "Marriage Means..." thing. But I agree with the Rest of it.

Give gays all the rights that they protest for, and calling it a civil union won’t be good enough for them. They want to feel that there is no difference between them and straight couples in the eyes of the church. (sorry…won’t happen). and that they will be fully normalized into the mainstream.

Much of the battle is over the name “Marriage”
