Connecticut, the third smallest state, covers approximately 4,872 sq. miles. Connecticut is nicknamed the "Constitution State" for creating the first written constitution in the United States. The capital of Connecticut is Hartford.

Beautiful country up there, the scenery is magnificent especially in the fall. And there area lot of old churches and older buildings that I love the architecture on. I understand that taxes are high though and there seem to be a lot of rural areas, so I guess no place is perfect.

You must not have stayed long enough to realize the residents never learned the word humility or anything about kindness. The greater Hartord area is the meanest place I have ever lived. The people are greedy and cold...for the most part. State employees behave corruptly and kee there jobs! Would you like to have a job where you can go on the Inet and search for a mate while you are supposed to be working. If so please apply at DCF! I am in awe of the corrupt state employeesand the snob attitude of the 'people' in the greater hartford area!
