This store is absolutaly HORRIBLE! i have never experienced anything like it before. Ive had problmes with this company on more than one occasion. Once i went to the store, and i saw a really cute shirt on the mannaquin. I asked the store employee where in the store the shirt is located. Her answer: "Oh, we dont sell that shirt here, its just for display!" Like are you kidding me?!? Another time i ordered an order of about 20 items online at the end of summer, and i waited almost two weeks for the order to even come. When it came i opened the package, to find that one shirt had two missing button, another shirt had a hole the size of a penny, another shirt had pen stained all over it, every item was very rinkled and they had a foul smelling odor to them. I called customer service and had to wait and hour and a half to speak to someone, they told me they cant prove that the stained and damages to the clothes were their fault because i was calling 18 days after my purchase, when i had just recieved it!!!! Another time i was ordering a gift card online for my friend for Christmas when i was told i couldnt order it unless i had a confirmation number from my credit card.(i had to call them because the website neglected to tell me that!). After i got my confirmation number, i called them back to give it to them so i wouldnt have to the the whole process online. They told me i had to order a whole new giftcard, i went to do that and again even with the confirmation number it wouldnt go throug! I called them back and they told me because i had just ordered a gift card i had to waite at least 7 days until i could purchase another one! Yet, in reality i wasnt able to purchase the previous one, finally after 3 hours of fighting with them i got my order cancelled. I will NEVER buy anything from them online or in the store EVER AGAIN!!!!

I work at a Forever 21 store, and it sounds like the employee you talked to about the item on the mannequin told you wrong, or phrased her answer wrong. We do sell the items on the mannequins, however, there are some complications with them. The people who dress the mannequins are completely different from the other employees in the store. We are not aloud to touch the mannequins because they are very expensive, and it would mess up the image of the floor if we were to remove items from them. Now about specific items... we receive items at random, and never know what it will be. So sometimes the mannequins are dressed before we have the item. The employee should have offered to check with other stores for you. Also, sometimes the items on the mannequins sell out quickly, but again... the employee should have offered to place the item on hold for you while we order another for you, or check with other stores. So that complaint sounds like it was the employee's fault. Please do not blame the company for that.
All of the online stuff, however... I'm sorry to hear about. I have no experience with the online store.
