Pantene 3

Pantene always left my hair feeling like it was in good condition, but really it was just putting a wax over my hair shaft to protect it. For a while when I was using it I really loved, it and then I noticed my hair has no volume what so ever. I have thin hair and need all the volume that I could get, and I even tried the volumizing Pantene, but it did little to help. I think that the price for Pantene is good, but I feel there are other options, which are as good if not better.

Sorry to hear you didn't like Pantene, but I'd like to assure you that Pantene products do not contain wax. I work for Pantene and also use Pantene shampoo and conditioner. This has been a long standing rumor started years ago in the professional salon industry. Pantene's ingredients and Pro-V formulas have conditioning ingredients to provide healthy hair with shine, strength, and protection from elements that damage hair. Hope this helps. Thx, Dee.

It doesn't have to contain wax to make hair waxy. Pantene coats the hair and doesn't do well on my hair type at all. Pantene does contain silicone and silicone can be left behind. I won't be buying Pantene any time in the future or at all.
