G.E. Monogram (Built-In Side-by-Side) 1

I also have a GE Monogram refrigerator which came with the house I own. All of my neighbors and I have had numerous issues with this unit, including warming of the freezer to the point of all food being lost. This has happened at least three times. I am now experiencing the same thing, of course my refrigerator is no longer under warranty and basically I am on my own. I am told by GE that the part I need will run me approximately $1000. so that is out of the question. I am so disappointed in this product line that my husband and I agree we will never buy GE again.

I also have a house with a monogram fridge. After noticing the tiles on the floor in front of the fridge were coming loose we called in a contractor who pulled out this built in appliance to discover the wall behind it was covered in black mold. The fridge apperently has issues with sweating because of lack of air flow in the rear of this fridge. GE Repairman came out and told me i need 3 sweat kits where are heaters they install on the back wall for a bill of 900.00 HUH??? I need to pay almost a thousand dollars more to stop the fridge from doing damage to my house?? This fridge clearly has a defefect yet they want me to pay to correct this defect. Take away this 6000.dollar POS will ya!!!!It has caused thousands of dollars damage to my home. I will never buy GE again!!!!
