I think Sarah Palin resigning is pretty significant. I don't agree w/most of her policies but I think she is a nice person, and has gotten screwed by most media. That being said, I think when she stepped on the national scene, she pretty much bastardized her constituency in Alaska. I think when she got to the national level, it was like she was almost too good. I read an article stating how Alaskans wanted the old Sarah Palin, but again, once she got so much exposure then you know that isn't going to happen. Also, like so many other politicians, she'd rather be at a fundraiser in Manhattan than in Juneau....but that's with most politicians anyway. I'm sure she'll run for higher office, and if that doesn't work out for her, I think she'd get her own television program.
