This is one of the best curling irons I have ever used. The one down side is that the place where the cord connects to the curling iron wears quickly and that is usually why I need to replace it. If they could come up with a new way to attach the cord that would prolong its life, it would be perfect. I agree that you have to at least have medium length hair in order to use it because it does burn you very easily with short hair. Although, I use it to curl my bangs and they are only a couple of inches long.
