Sarah Palin Resigns as Governor of Alaska before finishing Term

reviewed by Wiseguy

"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) announced this afternoon she will resign from office on July 26 and return to private life, a stunning decision by last year's Republican vice presidential candidate to leave office before the end of her first term."

Sarah Palin Resigns as Governor of Alaska before finishing Term 1

Five stars as a tabloid media event. When I say tabloid, that includes the entire media

I really don't care what her reasons for resigning are. The Liberal establishment's scared to death of Mitt Romney, the slimy media will prop up Palin to give her an advantage over him, that is how McCain gained the edge in the G.O.P primaries.

For some reason, we don't desire smart leaders anymore.

When it comes to Romney, unfortunately, I think you underestimate the religious bigotry of southern "evangelicals".

I totally agree, They've been a thorn as well.

If it came down to Palin & Romney in 2012 primaries, Romney would again be in trouble here in Dixie.
Frankly, it pisses me off.

He did a good job as governor of Massachusetts (where I lived until this past April). He looks to be clean as a whistle (knock, knock), and is as smart and competent as anyone. What the Republicans need is someone with Romney's resume who can kick ass in a political street fight. They don't have anyone who fits that bill.
