I'd get annoyed by the flurry of accusations of ethical misconduct too, I guess.
But I tend to agree with the consensus here that this might have been a bad move as far as solidifying a future bid for the presidency. But maybe it will help her? Who knows? I've seen more surprising things (e.g., her warm reception as a VP candidate in '08). Maybe she really does need a full 3 years to brush up on her con law, so that "gotcha journalism" doesn't get her again:
