I would love to feed my dog raw but I don't have the money, time, or the knowledge. My nine year old dog was pretty healthy but she didn't want to eat her dry food unless it contained something like cheese or little bits of chicken. I didn't want to keep feeding her something she didn't really like. She barely even touched the stuff. I got a sample pack of the EVO small bites and my dog gobbled it up!!! I don't know if i should mix her old food with the evo for a week or so so she adjusts correctly but she hates it!
I feel bad feeding her the food she doesn't like....
What should I do?

I also got a free sample bag of evo small bites and my GSD puppy loved it, so I bought a big bag, mixed it in with her old food, then went to all evo, and now she isn't excited about it at all! She likes to eat if I mix her food with something cooked, like liver or hamburger,or cheese. She likes to work for her food, so sometimes I feed her while training or playing, but she still likes it mixed with stuff, I don't always have the time or energy to do that though. OY vey.

I wouldn't worry about it too much... dogs eat less of EVO than they do of most other foods simply because of the nutritional potency. They aremore prone to eating a little then walking away... not because they don't like the food (necessarily) but because they don't NEED the food.
