Canada 4

As a whole, I think Canada is pretty good. There are obviously areas that could be improved but that could be said about ANY country. Its a nice place to live and also makes for a great vacation destination. I think everyone should visit at least once (especially if you plan on forming an opinion about it).

I like that we are a peaceful nation and that people are accepting of other nationalities and races for the most part. I like that we are not interested in wars or having big military force. I am personally not for any of that so the fact that we don't usually get involved makes me happy. Its very multi-cultural and that is evident just by walking down the street or speaking with someone.

Although I like that we try to make sure everyone has a good standard of living and access to things like medicare and university, I don't like that it can sometimes go overboard and end up being a little too close to socialism. With conservatives now in power, I think it will help balance out some of extreme left policies we've had for a long time.

I also love the seasonal changes, which not all countries are fortunate enough to get, although QC winters can be a little long.

Most of all, I love the safe feeling I have living here :)
