Regions Bank 5

Keep a check register and you will stop overdrafting. Its called being responsible and knowing how much money you "really" have. Its your own fault for being lazy and depending on the internet for your balance. Some businesses will run your check/charge months later..not the banks fault. They have to charge the overdraft fee in order to cover the extra money they are loaning out because of insufficient funds. Remember that thing called a checkbook, BALANCE IT!!
This is a joke.

I almost didn't even answer this post due to the fact it must be someone who is ignorant or nor fully reading these complaints. I was a customer at a previous bank 12 years and NEVER had one overdraft. I ALWAYS keep a paper trail of my spendings/earnings. Lately Regions has been very corrupt with the way they charge their fees. Every Friday I have a direct deposit go in at midnight. They put it online under pending by 2am. Then, at 6am I make a small purchase. Somehow they make sure it looks like I made that purchase first. My pending check deposit it put to second and my purchase is moved to the top to come out first. That way, they charge the overdraft. I showed my paper proof and a print out of their corruption by printing how their online banking transaction "mysteriously" change. Their response was...."sorry, we are told to put withdrawls first even if I deposit is also pending before hand". I then asked to speak to a superviser and was told... "That's just the way things shake up".

So while yes, I am sure some people do need to be more careful with their budgeting, etc. but not all who still fall victim. etheir way, REGIONS ARE THEIVES!!!!!!!

Let me ask,,.....Are you an employee? If so, you would know anyways.
