Brighton Mower Service 1

I have had repeated terrible experiences with this place and I will never return.
Poor attitude, unreliable due dates, overcharging, charging for service that wasn't actually done, etc. You can name it all and these guys seem to do it wrong. It is too bad, because it is a great location and a nice building.

They always have an elitist attitude at this place.

It once took them 45 minutes to find my mower when it was completed.

All mowers in for service (and completed ones) are stored outside to get rained on, snowed on, etc. Oh yeah, every time I leave their shop nowadays, the gas tank on my mower is just about drained, too. Nice!

This spring, after taking my nearly new Toro mower in for regular maintenance for $55, I had the self propel function quit 2 weeks later. These guys then charged me another $58 and then it still didn't work when I got it home. Next they wanted to charge me for a drive belt that they should have replaced the first time for the $58.
Oh yeah, and it took another week to figure this out, too.

I'm sorry, but the only reason I reviewed this business is because I received such terrible service, not just once, but twice. As for a "chip on my shoulder", certainly I am pissed about the EXTREMELY low-quality service I received recently. When I looked back on my past experiences over the last 6-7 years with Brighton Mower Service, I have not been that thrilled by their attitude overall.
If you somehow think that this was not an honest review, you'll realize that I never mentioned another prospect for service. It's not that I'm trying to get people to go anywhere else in particular, simply that I'm advising them AWAY from Brighton Mower individually. I have been completely honest about my experience.
I am not so sure I can say the same thing about the stellar review I see was posted a day or two ago on their behalf. I actually suspect that YOU are a shill, just trying to minimize the effect of my review.
Be aware that whoever you are, that customer service, honesty and attitude matter to your customers. A friendly attitude and attentive on-time service goes a long way toward keeping and attracting customers.

I know that I have been a longtime customer of brighton mower and dont care what you think. If you dont like their service please take you and your chip on the shoulder attitude somewhere else. loser

obviously brighton mower can not serve a person of royal attitude as your self so have fun at another shop. they will probably tell you to go to hell.
