Cat 5

One day I heard a funny noise coming from the other room, it was like: SNAP mwroooorrr, SNAP mwrooooooooorrrrrrr.. So I went to see what was up with my cat. She had eaten a rubber band and it was half out of her butthole. As she tried to get it out, it was slipping from her mouth and snapping her in the anus lol

Poor kitty. I couldn't leave her to that. So I got a towel, wrapped her up and slowly pulled it out. I wish cats knew when you were helping them sometimes. They sure know how to make you feel rejected lol. If she had a gun and thumbs she would have shot me dead lol.

I love kitties.

Hah, what is it with cats and eating crap they can't digest? My family had a cat who used to eat tinsel off the xmas tree. I had to use a similar kitty+blanket burrito technique to fix that mess.

Rubber band pretty much takes the cake though, LOL. SNAP...mwrooooorrr says it all.

That tinsel sounds nasty. Did it not break in your hand when you tried to pull it? And it seems like it would give paper cuts :/ Poor kitty.

I had another cat, Siamese, I bought a bag of hair elastics. The cloth like ones, 100 of them. You know the kind I mean? And one day I couldn't find an elastic. I was confused.. I live in a one bedroom and I bought a life time supply. That's the day I learned my that cat eats elastics..
She was a closet elastic eater because I didn't notice until they were all gone :P
She played fetch with them.. I guess after the game she's just eat em xD She ate 100 in a month

LOL @ closet elastic eater. My current cat definitely uses hair elastics for his own fetching related amusement, but he hasn't eaten any of them, yet (that I know of :P).

He is, however, a closet plastic bag licker, occasionally opening cabinet doors at night to try and find one to lick incessantly.

I've heard it's because they lubricate grocery bags with animal fat, but there's no real way of effectively fact checking that on google. Note to self: the best way to get away with lying about something on the internet is to include a search term related to sex.

Is that why? My cat chewed the crap out of those bags. She filled them full of holes. I couldn't leave a bag out or she would wake me up crinkling lol. After she was done with a bag it was a tiny ball, when I unfolded them, they looked completely full of teeth holes lol. I am glad she didn't swallow chunks of bags.

That is a good idea lol.
I am a good Googler. I will take a look and get back to you :P

Haha, please report back. That particular rumor sounds inaccurate at best, but a quick query yielded me nothing but sites that sell sex toys and use the name "shopping bag" for their cart utility.

It said some cats like the sound, some are teething and even more like the smell and taste of the "tallow" (animal fat) that they use in the bag making process.
I also read that if you have more expensive bags, your cat wont lick or chew them. But they still might crawl inside, get their head caught in the handle and run around the house like they are wearing a cape.. That was funny xD

haha, Oskar has totally played the part of a rather forlorn plastic bag superman on a number of occasions.
