Care to elaborate? Why do you feel this food is terrible?

pomchi breeder commented 109 days ago.
because heard it's to hard on dogs dtomachs a friend of mine fed it to her dog and she lost weight on it..

Perhaps her dog was overweight to begin with. And how is it hard on a dog's stomach? Compared with what? It's high quality, meat based food, packed full of extra nutrients and supplements geared at naturally supporting the immune system, fighting allergies, and combatting cancer.

I agree, I have 3 border collies on this food, 2 on senior and 1 on adult. The dog on adult developed diahrea, and vomitting. He became lethargic. Vet found nothing but stomach irritation. I took him off this food and put him on my own rice and ground meat mixture to rest his stomach and he is back to his active, funny self. He was refusing the food and I forced him to eat it, I feel terrible that I didn't listen to him.

That doesn't make it a BAD food, like one that has sodium pentathol, or slaughterhouse waste in it would be. It's also made by people who are concerned with more than just profits. It just means that it doesn't agree with your dog's system. To be fair, you should give ALL manufactured dogfoods a terrible rating, or just give this one an average. I'm allergic to wheat, tomatos, potatos, bell peppers and cow's milk, but I don't think they're terrible foods just because I can't eat them. Now, if they were always sold with pesticide residue, half rotted, etc., THEN I would rate them as terrible!
