LOL! I see you're still trying to get that bitch seat on some HAs ride.

Barger's hillarious. First he said he's never said anything good about a Honda, then states he'd ride a ST1100.

Next up on his comedy/book tour, he hates Harley's and H-D yet goes to a book signing at an H-D dealership.

He saved the best for last though re riding something other than a Harley. "It's not a club rule but I'm not gonna take the razzing thousands of people are gonna give me for not doing (it).". Christ, the dick is a HA and he's got self-esteem issues?

Methinks he's jacked off about being ignored by H-D. "Absolutely none. They refuse to admit we exist." and "Well they don't want to admit that we've ever done anything. And I don't want to admit I ride one!". Fool stated in a previous paragraph that he rides a 2000 (His wife rides Dyna Glide Sport, same year even though he thinks they're junk).

Like I said before, I couldn't give a shit about the HAs or what they ride. They could ride Segways or motorized skateboards and I wouldn't care, though it would be fun to watch.

1) Your religion has too many rules.

2) All you guys are way too influenced by peer pressure.

1) Too nebulous of a question to answer.

2) That's an assumption on your part, and a wrong one at that. I'm only influenced by my own personal taste. I drove a Mazda Miata, generally regarded as a "chick" ride. Didn't give a shit because it fit what I was looking for at the time: small, light, reasonably fast, and tight handling.

If I had the bucks, I'd drive a Miata.

If I had the real big bucks, I'd buy an XK120.

I confidently drive a minivan...

The big Hondas are definitely better bikes than Harleys, but I have no interest in either.

These are my current dream bikes:

"Real men can ride as a passenger without worrying about some insecure twit calling them fags". Why'd you pull it? It was a valid point.

Please. First of all, I'm about as insecure as Donald Trump and definitely no twit.

Second, the comment was simply a not too subtle dig at your persistence in bringing up the HAs whenever Harleys are mentioned. It almost seems that you're far to enamored of the group, and it was meant in jest. You'll know when I'm coming at you with a battle axe.

As for riding second seat, I've done it many times. I hate it, not because it doesn't make me a "real man", but because if I'm not riding first, I'm not a happy camper. I prefer to ride solo.

Never ridden one of the newer models, so I couldn't tell you. You may very well be right.

Just to show you that who rides what means shit to me as long as they like it, I saw a guy coming out of a nutrition center in Malden about a week ago. About my height, weighed about twenty pounds heavier and was in great shape. Didn't ask, but I knew his next stop was the gym (Planet Fitness, BTW, not Gold's). I won't go into details about the talk since it lasted about twenty minutes, but suffice it to say that the bike he was riding was a three year old Yamaha cruiser, 1700cc, though I forgot the model. The reason I stopped was because I thought it was a damn fine bike, well made, in fantastic shape with a somewhat simplistic look to the console and black. Had what appeared to be a 180-90 tire in the rear. Sounded great! I'd have absolutely no problems riding that bike.

1) I pulled it because I realized you'd think I called you a "twit".

2) I use the Red and White as examples because they are the originators and foremost of the Harley cults (and because nearly every other Harley cultist fantasizes being one). I thought it was interesting to read that Sonny Barger was as influenced by peer presure as the "Heck's Angles" I meet when I'm out riding.

3) If I was big 'n' beefy, I might consider riding a humungous cruiser, but at 125 lbs (of solid muscle) I prefer bikes in the range of 500 to 750cc. I loved riding my R100RS, but every time I stopped I had to put down the side stand instantly or she'd try to kill me.

4) I never ride as a passenger 'cause I'd be scared out of my wits being at the mercy of another rider's skills.

Let's switch it up:

A) Fair enough, but if felt that insulted I would have answered more vigorously.

B) Fair enough. It appears we both agree that Barger's own insecurity is at least interesting, though I'd push it a little further and call it ironic.

C) Fair enough. I'll leave it at that.

C) Exactly. Though I won't get on someone's bike unless I have a good feel for their driving skills. Even then I'm a back seat rider. Like I said, I prefer to ride solo.

Ironic, it is.
