Iggy Pop & The Stooges 5

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that more people saw The Stooges a couple of years ago than in their heyday.

Though immensely influential, they were not popular until relatively recently.

You're probably right, although technically that would make their final tours their heyday, wouldn't it?

ooops...Lust for Life is an Iggy solo album but still one of my faves. When I saw The Stooges in 07, I remember the show that I went to in Denver was one of the few that wasn't sold out. They definitely did fade for a long time. The last album, 'The Weirdness' wasn't that great but the show was good.
