I was put onto Nioxin by my hairdresser for psoriasis. I have extremely thick hair and shed daily but its not a problem cause there's plenty more where that came from. I've used it for 5 months and the psoriasis improved but now it is coming back. I notice no-one else has talked about psoriasis on this site. Did I get duped by my hairdresser??

Well I'm also a hairstylist, and I only suggest Nioxin to my clients when they notice their hair is thinning. And for scalp purposes, only if they seem to have build up. I looked on the Nioxin website, and it doesn't say anything about psoriasis, but I'm not sure, you can write them.

And also, psoriasis is a medical thing, not a hair stylist thing. And even with all the research on it, there isnt a cure for it.

I would suggest researching both Nioxin and psoriasis =)
