Bank of America 1

I think that Bank Of America is the most crooked bank ever. The way that they run their company is so devious. Then when you have a problem and call about it you have to talk to their customer service department which is pointless because they are nothing but rude (Every time I have called) they help you to accomplish absolutly nothing besides making the customer VERY angry. The thing they are most known for is the $35 charges they like to hit you with. I understand if they charge is necessary and you overdrafted, but when they dont post your overdraft charge till days and days later then there is huge problem since most likey the money will not be in there, and they know that so that will just cause another over draft charge and eat all the money away that you have. FYI: BANK OF AMERICA WILL CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT A $35 IF YOUR ACCOUNT HAS ALREADY BEEN NEGATIVE FOR 5 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. THE FUNNY THING IS WHEN YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT. I talked to customer service for 1 hour when they knew my account was overdrawn and they never mentioned their "new policy" because they are crooked and out to hurt the cutomer and make the most money that they can on over draft fees. What a smart way to run your bank and care about your customers. Well the only advice I can give to any one considering Bank of America is that its the biggest Mistake, they have the worst customer service, they dont tell you any details, or how their banking system works until its to late, and if you already have an account with them I would close your account take your money and run!! I do reccomend Wachovia :) nicest cutomer service, they help and understan the cutomers issues and do something about it and dont have all these un needed charges. I also thing that its funny how Bank Of America would add this new $35 policy during a time like this. The economy is bad and people can not afford much. Do they really think adding a $35 is going to help someone when their account is already neg with more $35 charges??? umm no, They just want to make sure their bank is taken care of, but not the customer. Good Luck to ANYONE that deals with them. They are VERY Dissapointing.

Don't know what you're complaining about. I bank with Wachovia and BofA. It is very naive of you to believe that Wachovia will not do the EXACT same thing as BofA, they do it all day long. The customer service isn't comparable. Wachovia reps will tell you whatever it takes to get you off the phone or out the door. Read your account disclosure and you will see that Wachovia charges the EXACT same fees in the EXACT same order as BofA when it comes to overdrafts. Its sounds like you are incapable of managing your finances or you wouldn't be in overdraft trouble with both banks. If you want to spend BofA's money, they can charge you whatever they want. Someone with brains that wanted to live beyond their means would use CREDIT CARDS from these banks, which give you free overdraft protection. If BofA and Wachovia are constantly having to pay your bills, you have to pay them for your irresponsibility. I am so sick of people being financially stupid and then whining about the "economy" and "banks" and the "government". Why don't you grow up and pay up!
