I wouldnt even give them one star if their was that option. Just moved in new house, well $50 install fee, didnt like that to start with but its cool I was going to pay it to get it started and get over it. Well the installer took 3 hours to hook up my internet, back and forth with charter on phone, couldnt get my personal modem to work (which was working fine with charter at my other house) so he decides to try one of their modems, still doesnt work. Installer finally gets it worked out but says I need to call charter, that he doesnt know whats going on, doesnt know how much my bill is going to be or anything. Well I call them and of course problems, they had me on wrong package, the installer took my modem instead of hooking it back up, I found this out after he left and saw that I was being charger for a modem. Well that took 2 weeks to get straight and they never found my modem only gave me one of theirs, all of this added up to more than 8 hours of phone time trying to get this fixed. I talked to several different charter employees and 2 of them said they didnt offer the package that I signed up for on their website! This is a VERY bad company, reallllly needs a big overhaul, I can see why the bankruptcy is offical. If you have another option I would suggest try a different company, but the problem is where I am from they are the only option so if you want cable you have to use them. If you use this company be VERY carfefull, check your bill constantly for extra charges, and dont take your eyes off of your personal equipment.
