Ol' Roy 4

I have 4 of the happiest and healthiest dogs anyone could ever hope for. I have been talking with my sister-in-law about the different ingredients in Ol' Roy Brand Dog Food, and I feel like I have been talking to a wall. All she can talk about is the "animal digest" in it. What everyone should think about is that ALL dogs are domesticated wild animals. ALL dogs eat EVERY part of a prey animal they kill in the wild. They don't care if it is noses hips toes or fat.

Something else that others should think about when talking about Wal-mart brand foods is that they are paying less for the very same product. Name branded products are 100% the same as store branded products. You pay up to $4.00 more for the name than you do the store name, ie: Pedegree. Dog food is not the only product that is made by other companies and gets put into a store brand container. The next time you go to the store look at the lable of your favorite can of fruit. My guess is that if you read Dole on it and pick up a store brand it will read "manufactured by Dole For (insert your favorite store/company here).

To close I would like to include that if you have all that extra money that you dont want you can feel free to send it my way. I love and care about my dogs happiness. A will give them what makes them happy healthy safe and insures that they will be the same 4 loving animals they have been for the last 9 years. Baby age 9 Ares age 8 Alala age 6 AJ age 2.

... but "animal digest" isn't noses, hips, toes, or fat. Look it up. It's pretty disgusting. And today's domesticated dog is NOT a wolf in dog clothing. They are dogs. Bred for ten thousand years to be different from wolves and other wild canids. A Cocker Spaniel is no more a coyote than a Persian is a lion. Ten thousand years of selective breeding to create domesticated dogs and then differentiate them into different breeds has created significant anatomical change.

However, if you want to make the claim that dogs are wolves and need the same nutritional intake that wolves do... 70-90% of your favored brand, Ol Roy, is corn, wheat, soy, and other grain or vegetable matter that a wolf would never eat and couldn't be healthy on. There goes your argument, huh?

The fact that your oldest dog has thusfar survived on a diet of Ol Roy for nine years doesn't indicate that Ol Roy is a quality food in the least... it just means that (at least in the case of your four dogs) it won't kill them. Sticking a needle in my eye won't kill me... does that mean it's a healthy thing to do?
