Coast to Coast AM With George Noory 1

The show is rubbish anymore.

When Art Bell was host you got hard core science and UFO stuff. Now it's almost all powderpuff subjects like angels, numerology/astrology, "celebrity" interviews, dream interpretation, ghost crap, prophesies, mayan calendar/"2012" this and "2012" that.

Noory does not seem to be very intelligent and he doesn't ask critical questions of his guests like Art Bell would.

If the producers are smart they'll get rid of Noory in favor of either George Knapp, or John Lear or someone like them. I only listen when Knapp is hosting and the rare times when Art himself decides to host.

BTW: Screening calls sucks and its totally against what Art Bell did. The spirit of the show has been compromised.

This show went from a sort of "Real Life X-Files" to a a real joke.

It's always worth logging on to agree with a review like this.

He's pushing an article on "Are machines becoming smarter than people?"

My toaster is smarter than Noory. He's easily the worst interviewer on radio. Year-after-year he fails to improve.

A guy to listen for who reminds me of a much younger Art Bell is Tim Binnall of Binnall of America. He has SOMETHING to do with Coast to Coast cause Noory always thanks him at the end of the show.

Maybe there's hope that Binnall replaces Noory. I listen to Binnall's Audio Archives on his site and its like going back to the heyday of Art Bell. Guests like Stanton Friedman, Jacques Vallee, Budd Hopkins, John Lear, Linda Moulton Howe, etc.

John Lear had me until he stated, emphatically, that 1 in 10 humans have been abducted by aliens. Other than that, he has been one of the more iinteresting guests.

I totally agree with you. the subjects he has now are so lame it is ridiculous. Art really had some great topics as noalcalcio has mentioned. I think the show has been dumbed down this way because George doesn't have a good understanding of the subject matter. He seems like a nice enough man but I don't think he is cut out for the show.
