I was told that the job was going to be a 5000lbs job. All we had was our 36' foot truck (Holds 16,000lbs). When the client saw the size of this truck she made reference to my movers that she was just going to have us move this (a full garage about 5000lbs), but now I see the size of this truck I also have this (full 2500sq. ft. house 9000lbs). She called me up midway through the job complaining that my guys were slow. I called my guys in reference to the complaint they said they had filled the whole truck. I called her back and asked why she didn't tell me she added twice the amount that was originally told to us. She continued to claim she never changed the amount and my guys were slow, but admitted that this truck was full. These two guys have done over 1000 jobs combined for FVL & I have never once heard them referred to as slow. I thought it was in our best interest to get full payment up front ( I have not done this in 3 years, nearly 4000 jobs). If I think our company is going to be compromised I will take necessary action to insure our integrity. Please google Fischer Van Lines & read other reviews.
